Live in the moment you're in
savor the gift of life
reminisce but don't linger
prepare but don't leap forward

Life's a beauty so cherish it
with peace that comes from within
forgive when you still can
cry harder then be stronger

Share the love that you nurtured
to others and mostly to Earth
be a beacon for those who are lost
and in your silence, rejoice!

My Dawn

I never stopped dreaming
always somewhere but never dare
afraid of the walls I built
scared to escape by death

I never stopped singing
the harsh words I conceived
broken tune of sadness
silence gives me the creeps

I never stopped waddling
stuck in a dried mud
a pool of circling pain
so foolish I jumped in

In my deathbed do not cry
mock me not, do not try

Tap Tap Tap

I cannot recall when was the last time,
that I was able to conceive a thought,
it comes to me and vanishes in a wink,
an idea to shape a day or even just a moment.

A balloon that floats up the sky,
slowly it shrinks and then it's gone.
Before I get the chance to write my thought,
it's gone and my head is blank again.

Once a tune keeps playing in my mind,
I strum but it is a different sound.
What a lovely melody, it made me smile,
but what was it, I totally lost it.

I started to ponder on the events of the day,
why am I in the middle of nowhere.
in my hand, a pebble I hold,
I am an island in an uncaring stream.

As Great As It Gets

Carved from the pains of history
Barely clinging for survival

The omens of destruction is now real
Civilization that once stood proud
Now nothing but ashes and ruin

Dark clouds cover the sky
The world is barren and dry
No bird flies any more
The very air is now a poison

Survivors will soon succumb to death
Time has come for the crawlers again

Their reign has come, they prevail
The grand scheme of the humanity
Shall never again be seen

For his greatness ruined him
His great mind destroys everything

A Monkey Up on the Tree

A monkey up on the tree
Jumping here and there with glee
The lion growls so full of anger
“Come down and satisfy my hunger”

Happy yet scared the little monkey dance
The angry lion leap to take a chance
But he couldn’t reach the happy monkey
Who spit at him and to the branches flee

The lion waited for the monkey to fall
But the witty monkey will never roll
Frustrated and hungry the lion leaves
“I‘ll get you next time I promise you this”

A monkey up on the tree
Jumping here and there with glee
Scratches his head and caught a flea
“Oh! Lion dear take this for free”

I Love You

I love you.

You are so consoling; your soft body that always bears my own. With you, all the lassitude and enervation of the day simply fade away living me so slacken and anodyne. Your cuddle, your whisper, they unruffled my spirit, they flush the anxiety from my very troubled mind. Whenever you gentleness soup├žon my skin, you send a shivering comfort down my spine that I don’t want to get up anymore. You’re a limerick that sends me into reckless slumber and I don’t care, you’re here to shield me. You watch over me, you listen to my soft breathing; you keep me from solitude… Thank you.

I love you… bed

World On a Parchment

Every poem I write carries a piece of my heart
Every word every line tells my life with art
Every stroke that my hand does with my pen
Every message tells me apart from other men

I create a world to fit my own existence
Where I can cry like a crow of the wilderness
I can be the horseman that owns the deserts
Or a pirate king the owns all the treasure chests

In a universe where all the dragons exists
I own the love that Aphrodite cannot resists
For the gods will offer ambrosia in many crates
I will the take the power they gave to the Fates

The seas and waves I will forever command
The howling winds will bow to kiss my hand
I create a world where everyone can live in peace
For I will crush the hearts of every tyrant leech

You promised Heaven
All I got is a patch of hell
A bitter pill to swallow
I swallowed it anyway
Is there a medicine for souls?
Or can a slit loosen it?

Sleep through the years
A never ending night
Memories of distant past
It leaves a sour taste

You promised, yes you did
What a fool to believe
Just as what it is
A promise, nothing else
Lullaby of thorny words

Devil's on the details

This is a forsaken land, I cannot be here, I don’t want to be here. The air stinks with blood, sweat, gun powder… and death.

This is not the world that I wished for, everything is in chaos, the apathy is appalling, not a living soul has any sense of decency, too much hatred and violence everywhere…

Man are killing each other when we should be caring for one another. Indeed we are all drinking on the same devil’s cup and we are enjoying it. There is no hope that is in sight. Every spirit is damned and there’s no telling if anyone will be spared.

Hell has surfaced on earth, it found its way through man’s heart.

Sit beside me, let’s chat
No, we don’t need to rant
All the pleasure we had before
Faded, no more
Consumed from the core

Tell me your story
I’m a good listener, you’ll see
Cats In The Cradle
Nice but not good for cuddle
Give in to the hustle

Don’t be concerned so much
Life is just as such
Friends will not let you down
I’ll take away your frown
Our lives have been sewn

Stop dreaming of owning the world
Watch the wonders as they unfold
Isn’t this satisfying?
We have stuff to our liking
Just stop complaining

Sit beside me, smile
Let’s cruise along the Nile
You don’t need treasure
Enjoy the leisure
Friend, I offer you cure
